At first, select two separate images where one of them is of a person and other one is of an image of nature that you want to work with under two separate new layers. Duplicate the layer by clicking Ctrl + J. Apply ‘Threshold Effect’ on portrait photo. To do that, you need to go to image> adjustments> threshold. Reduce the threshold level to bring good effect. It will give you the black tone with white background. Copy texture photo into portrait photo and adjust layer blending modes. Now, drag the 2nd layer’s palate below layer 1. Change the layer mode from normal to screen. Add gradient and adjust layer blending mode. Create a new layer and select gradient tool. Now, click and drag to add gradient effect. Change the blending mode from normal to color burn again. It shows blur. That is the end of the process and that is how one creates layer textured look in Photoshop.

I hope that it will help you and from now on, hopefully you will create more and more layer texture look effect like this and be an expert in this field in the future.
