At first, select a background image under a background layer. Duplicate the layer. Close the eye of background. Make sure the background copy is selected. Then go to Image> Adjustments> Black and White from the above toolbar. Make some adjustments of the image that is necessary. Open the eye of background layer. Now, select “Polygonal lasso Tool” and go over the image. After that, grab the eraser tool and go over the selected portion of the image. That sums up the whole process.
