Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 5, 2026
Clipping Path Service ("we," "us," or "our") provides professional photo editing services through clippingpathservice.com and our client platform at app.clippingpathservice.com (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We built our business on handling clients' commercial images with care, and we apply the same standard to your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Account information — name, email address, company name, and password when you register on our client platform.
- Uploaded images and project files — the photographs and files you send us for editing, along with your editing instructions.
- Communications — messages you send via our contact forms, quote requests, live chat, email, or scheduled calls.
- Payment information — billing details processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device and screen information, pages visited, referring site, and interaction data. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 5.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Services: receiving your files, performing the editing work you ordered, and delivering the results.
- To manage your account, process payments, and send invoices and order updates.
- To respond to enquiries, quote requests, and support messages.
- To understand how our website is used so we can improve its content, design, and performance.
- To protect the security of our Services and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded images for any purpose other than completing your project. Your images are never used to train AI or machine-learning systems, shared as portfolio material, or disclosed to third parties without your written permission.
3. Your Uploaded Images
Your project files are commercial assets, and we treat them that way:
- Files are transferred over encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections.
- Access is limited to the editors and quality-control staff assigned to your project.
- All images are permanently deleted after project completion, unless you ask us to retain them for ongoing work.
- We sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) on request.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent needed:
- Hosting and infrastructure — our website and platform are hosted on cloud infrastructure with content delivery and security provided by Cloudflare.
- Analytics — Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager), PostHog, and Ahrefs Analytics, described in Section 5.
- Live chat — Crisp, which processes chat messages you send us.
- Scheduling — Cal.com, if you book a call with our team.
- Payment processors — to handle transactions securely.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for the website to function and to understand how visitors use it. Specifically:
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics such as pages visited, traffic sources, and general location.
- PostHog — product analytics that help us understand how visitors interact with our pages. In some regions, PostHog may record anonymized sessions (mouse movement and page interaction) to help us identify usability problems; recordings exclude keystroke content in sensitive fields, and session recording is not enabled for all visitors or regions.
- Ahrefs Analytics and Cloudflare Insights — privacy-focused, cookieless measurement of page performance and traffic.
- Crisp — a cookie that maintains your chat session so conversations are not lost between pages.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features, such as live chat continuity.
6. International Data Transfers
We are a global team with production facilities in Bangladesh, and our service providers operate in various countries including the United States and the European Union. By using our Services, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Wherever your data is processed, it is protected by the safeguards described in this policy.
7. Data Retention
- Project images — permanently deleted after project completion, unless you request retention.
- Account data — kept while your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time.
- Invoices and transaction records — retained as required by tax and accounting law.
- Analytics data — retained according to the retention settings of each analytics provider, typically 2 to 26 months.
8. Security
We protect your information with encrypted transfers (SSL/TLS), access-controlled servers, role-based staff access, and internal confidentiality obligations for all team members. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard measures and review our practices regularly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data, including your account and project files.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice on our website or by email to account holders.
12. Contact Us
